У Цзицзин, який народився у лютому 1988 року, є заступником декана і в цей час працює штатним викладачем у Школі мистецтва та дизайну Гуйлінського університету електронних технологій у провінції Гуансі, Китай. Він отримав ступінь доктора філософії в Університеті імені Герцена Російської Федерації, його наукові інтереси лежать у сфері історії мистецтва та дизайну, народного мистецтва та ремесел. Протягом останніх п'яти років він очолював один проект на рівні провінції та три проекти на рівні університету. Серед його публікацій — монографія «Дослідження ілюстративного мистецтва дитячих книг у Росії від другої половини XX століття до початку XXI століття» та понад 15 наукових статей, з яких 4 були включені до основних журналів Art and Humanity Citation Index (A&HCI).

Ця монографія присвячена дизайну книг в Європі. Дослідження пропонує вивчення основних тенденцій у дизайні книг з історичного аспекту, аналізуючи їх вплив на книговидавництво на сучасному етапі. У монографії розглядаються концепції дизайну друкованих видань та представлено точку зору автора щодо їхнього візуального оформлення. У дослідженні також надаються пропозиції щодо вирішення проблеми типових помилок у дизайні друкованих видань. У монографії окремо висвітлюються проблеми та особливості дизайну інтерактивних електронних видань, а також торкаються питання створення та дизайну книг на платформах самовидання.
