"Ukrainian Journal of Medicine, Biology and Sports" is a peer-reviewed open access journal aimed at consolidating the scientific community and practitioners to draw attention to topical issues and promising areas of development in the fields of medicine, biology and sports. The "Ukrainian Journal of Medicine, Biology and Sports" publishes original scientific articles containing the results of experimental and theoretical research and not under consideration for publication in other journals. In the medical field, the journal publishes materials on health promotion, life extension, disease prevention and treatment. Biological articles cover theoretical and applied aspects of research into life and its manifestations at various levels. Physical education topics focus on the medical and biological aspects of the training process and the impact of physical activity on health. The journal will be a valuable resource for researchers, teachers, practitioners and anyone interested in the progress of medical and biological sciences, as well as in physical education and sports.

The journal adheres to an open access policy. By removing barriers to the publication of research, open access makes research results available to all. Open access articles can be freely read, downloaded and distributed. The authors retain copyright along with the rights to scientific use, and the "Ukrainian Journal of Medicine, Biology and Sports" receives the rights to publish and distribute.
Peer Review Policy
Reviewing (peer review) of manuscripts is carried out to ensure the high scientific and theoretical level of the "Ukrainian Journal of Medicine, Biology and Sports". The purpose of the review is to facilitate the careful selection of author's manuscripts for publication, to provide an objective assessment of the quality of the submitted material, as well as to determine the quality of its compliance with scientific, literary and ethical standards. All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the Editor-in-Chief or his deputy. If the articles are found suitable for further consideration, they are subject to review by independent, anonymous reviewers. The "Ukrainian Journal of Medicine, Biology and Sports" adheres to the principle of double-blind (anonymous) peer review.
Publication ethics
The Editorial Board is guided in its work by the international ethical rules of scientific publications, including the rules of decency, confidentiality, supervision of publications, consideration of possible conflicts of interest, etc. In its activities, the Editorial Board follows the recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics and, in particular, the Publishing Ethics Resource Kit of Elsevier.
